The text as a pretext to make theater.
A litany is already music, breath, rhythm. The sound always proposes an image, dreams, associations, and already draws a scenic space implied by this eternal battle between the power of sound and the lightning of meaning. I always build a show out of sound, out of singing. It is the sounds, the songs, the music that invent the images, the rhythm, the space. In this production, I’m interested in developing sound universes with several voices from rhythmic and melodic vocal improvisations and to confront the text as a score with a tempo of dynamics and modulations.
